Hamilton Street Bridge Removal

Scope of Works:
Mainline was engaged by Coleman Rail to demolish the Hamilton Street road bridge. The demolition scope the three-span timber and concrete bridge over PTA Perth-Fremantle railway line included:
- Design and verification of a safe lift program
- Removal of existing bridge structural elements
- Management and disposal of all materials and waste generated from activities
Equipment deployed:
- 220-tonne crane
- 16-tonne & 20-tonne excavators with bucket, grapple and rock breaker attachments
- Concrete cutting equipment
- Full Body Harnesses & Equipment
- Various Tools
Project Highlights:
- Complete bridge removal successfully accomplished within a 48-hour scheduled rail shutdown
- Delivered on time with zero incidents
- All recovered timber materials recycled and repurposed
