BHP Ammonium Nitrate Fuel Oil Facitliy (ANFO) Demolition

Scope of Works:
Mainline was engaged by Civmec to demolish the existing BHP ANFO facility and MEM Raw Water Tank at Yandi, WA. The scope included:
- Demolition and removal of
- ANFO building
- Redundant MEM tank (TK930I), ring beam foundation, pipework and fittings
- Demolition, removal and onsite disposal of AN building floor slab
- Demolition of existing fencing at ANFO (including foundations)
Equipment deployed:
- 50-tonne Excavator
- Side Tippers
- Demolition excavator attachments
Project Highlights:
- Project completed with zero incidents and zero harm to the environment
- Completed on time
